S is 12 weeks old!

At 12 weeks Sophie can do so much more now.
She can sit in her swing and observe the world for a pretty long time. She can follow objects.
She gives me her mega watt smile when I smile at her or sing songs to her.
She babbles.
She looks at the car toys while she's on the road instead of blindly crying.
She can laugh, showing off her meaty gums.
She can lift her head briefly higher while she's on her tummy.
She can perch on my shoulders more comfortably in an upright position.

Finger Discovery

Sophie has discovered her fingers and is busy exploring them. Her left hand especially the index finger are for stuffing and the right hand is for looking at.

A Routine

Sophie has progressed to quite a steady three hour routine. That means drinking every three hours. For the past two days, I noticed that her awake time after drinking has also increased to about one hour. That means eating for 45min-1h, activity for 1h and nap for 1h.
Nowadays she gets a little cranky around the evenings and it is not as easy to get her to go to bed. But once she does she sleeps pretty long, up to six hours! I wish she would eat more in the day though, to make up for sleeping through the night.

Deals

Deals are hard to come by but good to find. I spotted this cute footsie with prints of snails and flowers at the clearance section of Gymboree while I was on an escapade for 1h from Fifi. It cost only five bucks and fitted her just nice. It's the kind of vintage style I like. I hope she will like the vintage style in future too.

S is Two Months Old Today!
