Stuffed her cheeks silly

We were at the Korean food court to pick up some dinner and decided to stop by Paris Baguette (with no intention of buying anything).

Sophie pointed "我要" at the soft cheesecake. Oh well why not, I thought. Let the girl indulge a while since I had a bad day at work. Sophie climbed up the chair and pushed the cake to me "Open".

And that was the last I saw of the cheesecake before dinner. 

It was such a hot day and Sophie is dressed in Gloria's handme down dress made by Granma.

Rides rides rides

This was a nice relaxing weekend and rides rides rides for Sophie after a grueling nonsense rubbish weekend with feverish dd and overworked 3-hr sleep a day me. Also I realized after that this weekend would not have been made possible without the permission and grace from the Royal Majesty queen bee.

So anyway, we were at Happy Hollow zoo so that Sophie could get her horsey rides and car-car rides.

She also tried the ladybug ride at the zoo for the first time.

This milder version of the horsey ride at the mall is more of Sophie's favorite, unfortunately the unreliable chap always breaks down randomly and cheats us of our quarters.

And then we found this park nearby with water play. 

Got to remember to bring our towels and spare change of clothes next time!

Easter at 2

Why does someone always get sick before Easter? Last year, Sophie was down with urinary tract infection. This year, Sophie, me and daddy all came down with fever one after another. With the last man still battling high fever, that did not dampen our spirits as mommy and Soph trooped to Central Park looking for ji-dan this year.

Sophie was excited on the way there, kept asking 鸡蛋在哪里?? But of course, once we reached the crowded grounds, she went all jelly legs again, screaming with help: 妈咪抱抱! 

Eggs were gone in less than 30 seconds!

First time getting both our hands dirty for crabs with wriggly Soph=success! I only suffered some strawberry stains on my clothes.
