A hot day

It's very hot today but I still want to sit on my che-che and lady bug-bug!!

Happy 33rd Birthday

I would not have been able to remember that I'm 33 if not for the constant reminders from dd. The numbers after 30 get a little fuzzy, I just lose count of them.

Sweetness is the birthday song sung in chorus by Di, Ma, and Jiejie over the phone, and also sung by Soph and dd...

Relating A Story

Sophie is now able to relate a story, although abeit, in scrips and scraps.  I was at home working over the weekend so dd brought her to the mall to sit on her favourite horsey carousel ride. I packed her Mickey Mouse handbag (given by Yee-Ma!) with coins and off she went.

dd told me the horsey was not working (boo, again). And when Sophie came home, she ran to me and excitedly related that "horsey 坏掉了!", with some gibberish in between. 

"Horsey, 我来了！" (runs, skips!)

"Horsey 坏掉了..."

And yesterday,  she pooped while she was cycling so that the poop rode up her pants onto her tshirt. She also related to dd when he came home "poop poop 上来...(gibberish)...bicycle..."

Snorkeling Mama

This is me, getting ready for my first snorkel at Hanauma Bay. I was a little worried at first that the fish would come and nibble at my belly.

My worries were unfounded, the fishies were too busy nibbling at the corals. I love the water, it's so shallow that when my mask gets flooded with water, I just wade to a sandy spot and stand up, haha.

This is fun! 

Sophie was initially scared of the water, she was even screaming when I went in. She must have thought i wanted to commit suicide. But  by our last day in Oahu, she finally plucked up her courage. See how far she has gone!
