3/17 and 3/18

With each passing day, time seems to fly by a little faster, as we get into more of a routine. Sometimes we still fall out of the routine where  TV is often requested while squirming out of worksheets, piano and the like, of which I scream out “ok do whatever u want!”
Tue we attempted to use up some of my wheat flour by making banana muffins. Sophie did most of it and they turned out pretty fluffy!
On Tue evening, we went out for a drive in the evening just to get out of this cabin fever. It was pretty quiet. We decided to stop by Whole Foods so we could top up. It wasn’t that crowded and most were amazon shoppers. However, most of the essential shelves were cleaned out like milk, eggs, bread. A notice posted “no chicken at all”.
I was honestly a little surprised as I thought Cupertino residents already scrambled two weeks ago.

On Wed, we attempted macarons again, mostly because baking seems more fun than doing worksheets. This time our shapes are better but taste and texture stay the same.
Mostly the older girls stay busy with legos and yesterday they found some jigsaws. Its like digging for treasures at home now! It seems Cupertino just dumps resources on parents so I will just have to systemically assign some online work to Sophie everyday.
