Little Fifi is only one week old and today is already her third visit to a doctor. The first one was her first visit to the pediatrician. The second one was a weight recheck at the pediatrician because she was too underweight. And today she is at the pediatric opthalmalogist to check for cataracts. So many tests for such a young one!

Fifi is still on supplemental formula but after the visit to the lactation consultant, she suggested I attach a thin tubing to my nipple so she can still learn to latch on and get more milk so she gets more encouragement and won't be so frustrated from working hard but not getting food. The lactation consultant also went through the latching positions which were really useful-hopefully no more sore nipples for me anymore.
How shall we celebrate her one-week birthday today?
